Welcome to Gentle Grooming Graces LLC! To ensure a safe, calm, and one-on-one premium experience for every pet, we strictly enforce the following rules. By booking an appointment, you agree to these terms and the conditions outlined in our signed Consent to Pet Grooming Services & Release of Liability Agreement.
To protect the health of all animals in our care, up-to-date vaccinations and full behavioral transparency are mandatory.
Rabies Vaccine Requirement: A current Rabies vaccination is strictly required for all pets. Valid documentation must be verified before services can begin. Failure to provide verification will result in the appointment being canceled, and any deposit may be forfeited as a same-day cancellation.
Puppy Vaccination Series: Puppies under 16 weeks of age must have a minimum of 2 rounds of puppy starter booster shots completed before their first visit.
Long-Haired Friends Note: For our long-haired friends, a neat Face, Feet, and Sanitary (FFF) trim is always included at NO extra charge with our core packages to keep them tidy between full grooms!
Health & Behavior Disclosures: Owners must fully disclose all known health conditions, allergies, medications, senior status, seizures, skin issues, or behavioral histories (including anxiety, reactivity, biting, or special handling needs).
Safety First: For the safety of your pet and our team, we do not use muzzles. We reserve the right to refuse, modify, or discontinue services at any time if a pet poses a safety risk. Additional handling fees may apply for pets requiring special restraint or extended time.
We operate on a strict one-on-one schedule. When an appointment is missed without notice, it prevents another pet from being cared for.
24-Hour Cancellation Window: Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled service time.
Late Fees & Forfeiture: Late cancellations, no-shows, or failure to be available at the scheduled service time will result in the forfeiture of your deposit and an automatic charge of 20% of the requested services. Extenuating circumstances may be considered at the salon's sole discretion.
Leash Policy: Pets must arrive leashed and collared, remaining strictly under the owner's control until custody is transferred to salon staff. Owners must text upon arrival and wait for staff; do not enter restricted areas.
Prompt Pick-Up: We will send a courtesy notification approximately 15 minutes before your pet's service is completed. To protect our low-stress environment, pets must be picked up within 45 minutes of notice. Late pick-up fees will apply beyond this window.
Mandatory Weigh-Ins: Every pet is strictly weighed at the start of each visit. An accurate weight is essential for determining the correct pricing for your pet's services.
Final Rate Determination: While baseline rates are estimated during booking based on your pet's breed class, final service pricing is strictly determined by their actual weight on our salon scale, alongside coat condition, behavior, and the total time required.
Matting Risks: Removing a heavily matted coat carries inherent risks, including skin irritation, nicks, cuts, abrasions, bruising, self-inflicted scratching, or brief behavioral changes. Owners authorize shaving or necessary de-matting for the comfort of the pet, and additional charges will apply.
Senior & Medical Pets: Grooming can be stressful for senior or medically compromised pets, potentially aggravating hidden or pre-existing conditions. These pets will be groomed strictly for cleanliness and comfort. In the event of a medical emergency, you authorize us to obtain necessary emergency veterinary care at the owner's sole expense.
Refusal at Check-In: Pets are strictly required to be on a veterinarian-recommended preventative program. Any presence of fleas or ticks discovered during the initial check-in assessment will result in immediate refusal of service.
Immediate Service Cessation: Because we operate as a private, home-based salon, the discovery of parasites at any point during a grooming session poses an immediate health hazard. Services will cease immediately, and the groom will be discontinued.
Mandatory Fees & Eradication: Additional fees will automatically apply at the owner's expense to cover the immediate, mandatory parasite-elimination treatments, deep-cleaning, and salon sanitation required to safeguard our home environment.
Non-Negotiable Prompt Pick-Up: Upon being notified that parasites were found and services have been halted, prompt pick-up of your pet is strictly non-negotiable. Owners must arrive immediately to collect their pet to prevent further contamination.
By Appointment Only: Gentle Grooming Graces operates strictly by appointment only. We cannot accommodate walk-ins, as our calendar is meticulously scheduled to ensure a private, low-stress, one-on-one environment for every pet.
Due Upon Completion: Payment is due in full immediately upon the completion of grooming services.
Deposits & Non-Refundable Pricing: A non-refundable deposit is required for all bookings and will be applied directly to your final invoice. All pricing is final and strictly non-refundable once services have been rendered.
Processing Fees: A 3.5% processing fee applies to all credit card payments, including tap, swipe, insert, or manual entry. There are no fees associated with Debit or Cash
Returned Payments: Any returned checks or NSF bank notifications will incur a $35.00 fee.
