Why Gentle Grooming Graces exists

Some pets aren’t difficult.
They’re overwhelmed.

Hi, I’m Katie—a professional groomer with more than a decade of hands-on experience, including years in corporate grooming management and leadership.

I’ve served as an academy trainer and mentor for prospective groomers, helping new professionals build technical skill, safe handling habits, and confidence. That work deepened my understanding of canine behavior and keeps me learning.

After years in fast-paced salons, I noticed that many pets struggled because the environment wasn’t built for them. Noise, rushing, unfamiliar handling, and limited attention can be especially hard for anxious, sensitive, senior, or previously stressed pets.

Gentle Grooming Graces was created to offer a different kind of experience.

Designed from experience

A studio built for calm.

Every detail of the home-based studio supports emotional and physical well-being—from limited daily appointments to equipment chosen to reduce fear and overstimulation.

  • 01
    Fewer appointments

A quieter schedule means less rushing and more individual care.

  • 02
    Lower noise

A specialized K9 dryer muffler helps reduce sound and decibel levels.

  • 03
    Responsive handling

Breaks, equipment, and techniques are adjusted to each pet’s communication.

Grooming should never be rushed or forced.

Safety, comfort, and emotional well-being always come before aesthetics. If something cannot be completed safely, it is left unfinished—because a positive experience matters more than a perfect result.
